MagiAwen’s Occult View

This is an ongoing experience/experiment that I have been conducting since 2007, although some may wonder why so “little” information may seem to be posted. I assure you that these workings I have been doing don’t just go on for a day or two. Some last for several months and generally I am a patient person where magical operations are concerned.

In any case there are some clarifications that need to be addressed up front, to hopefully quell arguments and answer questions before they arise. This work is based on the following:

The idea that there is nothing wrong with asking/influencing “what is” for monetary gain.
-Meaning: There are no adverse karmic issues, if you choose to worry over such a thing.

The idea that monetary gain is not at the expense of others.
-Meaning: It is not a take from someone and give to me situation.

The idea that money comes in many different ways, including not instant cash.
-Meaning: At times financial gain comes after an opportunity. Examples will follow.

The idea that work is involved other than a magical rite.
-Meaning: Don’t quit your day job if you have one and be willing to have one.

The requirement that you must let go of any desperateness and worry where finances are concerned. The more you can do that, the more will show up. Give it up to the wind, trust yourself, have patience.

-Unless specified I cannot speak for substitutions in the following spells/rituals. Use them if you want, just know that I present this as I have worked with it. Something different may work for you. I have worked several ways and will include some of those alterations/substitutions as notes as I go along. What I present here works for me and does work for everyone else who has bothered to do them as they are and then tell me about it later. I have experienced consistent and increasing results with using these. Meaning that it’s a process that starts and escalates, although you aren’t going to be a millionaire overnight. These are not designed to win lotteries and what have you, however, they have worked for some small winnings for myself. For example, local cash drawings…winning several times in a row, etc. Fifty to a few hundred at a time.

Firstly, how I progressed to using Goetians….as far as the escalation of spells. I was in a pretty dire situation and started with daily “voodoo” (I call it that because it’s more like that than anything but not EXACTLY voodoo or hoodoo) money-getting spells. Shortly (the next day) I found cash on my way to the grocery store…80 bucks. Daily I did these spells and daily I was presented either with cash or opportunities. One example of what I call an opportunity was walking my dog and finding a chip for a free beer at a local tavern, going there to claim it and being offered a job right then and there after a short conversation with the owner. Which was good since I didn’t have a job at the time.

What is most interesting from this work has been the realization that the more you want a particular thing to happen, the less it happens. By this I mean that if I enter a drawing for a cash give away, then do a ritual specifically to win it…I will not win it. As observed by a month long experiment to win a pot of $300.00 each week. But if I do the ritual and then a cash drawing buy-in is presented. I would win. As observed by a second month of this reversal and $300 weekly drawing. Three times/weeks in a row. The fourth week in that month I did not win, however did notice that by that time I totally expected to win – this change in my disposition seemed to be the clincher. The next month I tried as much as possible to get that expectation out and won another two times in two weeks…after that it all went bunk as far as these drawings were concerned. Also, another observance was that the more I won the more the other people in the drawing were becoming angry and resentful of me winning all the time. Which, I am sure has a lot to do with it as well.

The “voodoo” and simple spells seem to work very well and very consistently for bits of found money – $20 to $150.00, small cash winnings (50 – 300) and for extra work (extra shift or increased tips).

For those out there that are skeptical…and I know there are more than a few…can all this be coincidence? Sure. All I can say is that if I don’t do them, everything stays the same…if I do them, I make more money. Sometimes they aren’t as completely consistent as I would like, however I believe there are many parameters involved. I choose to continue refining and doing them when I need to. If it all is simply psychological I don’t really care…the pattern is there and I’m happy so, why continue to question it? I decided to not question it long ago and simply go on personally refining it.

Once the smaller spells seemed to work and established a pattern I started working with spirits and money-getting. As I was mulling over what spirit from which pantheon or system I was going to use, I recalled many previous dialoguing sessions I had had with Vassago. In general, to not ramble on, I was using the Vassago energy to clear some things up for me personally, mainly relying on his attribute of declaring things past and to come. During this time there were many occurrences of me being “saved” by a vision or sudden realization. An example was one night I am driving home at 3 am and suddenly I have this recall of a woman telling me how her husband was hit head on while driving home one night. Just after I thought about that I swear I heard a voice that said, “Relax, hang on.” And one instant after that, I came around a corner and there was a car in my lane. Luckily I did not panic, started slowing down to the side of the road and the other car apparently realized where they were and got back on their side. Now…we can all think what we want about those types of things…I have had many happen very similar to that after working with Vassago…and I chose to make the connection that in a way, somehow, working with the Vassago energetic pattern, these things seem to make me more aware or in a way protect me…or at least they have. For a while now.

Sorry to go on so much but I feel that it is all needed as background…if for nothing else so others can see my reasoning for things, whether agreed with or not.

So..shortening it up I started a basic study of working with the Goetics in pairs. And I will include an example of how I did it here.

Using Vassago (as protector but not really protector…more to use as heightened awareness since I really don’t call him/it/anything like my protector or guide or whatever…I feel terms and the emotions that tie into those are not necessary). I wrote a little ditty on paper…which went something like this….

Show me all I need to know when I need to know it
To see all things seen, unseen and unforeseen just show it
So there is a way and time in time to stow it.

I created a triangle on paper…big triangle and wrote these sentences around the outer perimeter. Inside the triangle I drew a circle and inside that circle I drew a sigil for Vassago. I took the paper and placed it on my table, burned some 8 sticks of opium incense which I actually placed under my chair and placed a green candle at the top of the paper and a purple candle at the bottom of the paper. This will take as long as it takes for the candles to burn fully…so you may want to choose shorter candles and not some 14 inch tapers 

The idea in this mess is that while I sit and meditate with these symbols in front of me, with the incense wafting my entire body, I am making a connection and hopefully start to vibrate within the realm of ability of Vassago’s attributes. When I first started with this set up I would simply incessantly repeat those three lines, however, I did end up adding something’s to it. I will also let you know that I been working with Vassago in this way for this purpose for most of 2008 and thus far 2009 and have only done this ritual three times. I started with him last May then did it again in October when things seemed to finally be wearing thin. And then just again in January. The gist of the words are the same as above, however you can use whatever words you like as long as you stay on track. To answer any impending questions, no I do not make a pact, I do not try to command anything, I do not try to throw my metaphysical or magical weight around. It’s not energetically prudent.

I do face south when I do this and once I have used the Bornless Ritual before I start the meditation/chanting….I noticed no perceivable difference from the first time I did it without the Bornless Ritual and the third time when I did the Bornless Ritual.

It may be wise of me to interject that it seems that the Goetic entities/energies DO have issue with words. A tip…do not use negative words, the energies do not recognize them it seems. An example, “I don’t want the craving to smoke anymore.” Translates to “I want the craving to smoke.” By using what I tend to call commanding language…you do not ask, you simply make positive statements of exactly what you want and leave out what you do not want. Another example: “I don’t want to be poor.” Should be, “I shall always have enough money through positive means.” Or something similar. The way I see it is that negative words have no power, they take it away…seen similarly in defeatist statements made by unhappy and pessimistic people. Seems a lot of people dwell so much on what they don’t have they never really have anything.

Back to it.

Now, the entity I decided on for the working to actually influence the money side of things for this post anyway was Dantalion. I know…I know…doesn’t say anything about money in his description. Ah but I work sideways half the time anyway. Seems to me, “he knows the thoughts of all people and can change them at his will” is a good way to get money. As said earlier…get an extra shift at work, get extra tip money, find things dropped, offers of a job, winning a drawing. Also I do not escape this energetic dynamic either…it could very well change my mind from not doing anything to suddenly having an urge to put 50 cents in a gambling machine. Which actually did happen and I won $100.00 on that 50 cents. Little things that can come about simply when someone changes their mind end up being your opportunity.

Largely I do the same as I did above, however, in this ritual I am in the stance of conjuring where with Vassago I am aligning with the associated energy. My reasoning for this is very nonspecific, it’s just the way I do it. Some ceremonial magicians go on the premise that you must conquer and command. I simply leave it at command, however not by brute force. I see it as accessing an energy, in this case Dantalion, and commanding that energy to do my will. There is no need for domination or some sort of crazy illusory torture period. I have never felt I have had to force anything, trick anything or make a pact with anything. However, I do agree one must be commanding in their persona. Figuring you are commanding sway over a part of the universe, namby-pambies don’t work out well here.

Since the invocation of Dantalion is different I do cast my own protective circle, do the Bornless Ritual (my variation but have done it as is and nothing seems to change so do whichever you would like). I do make a visual paper of the triangle and a circle inside it and Dantalion’s sigil inside the circle but I don’t write anything else on the paper. Green candle and a white candle. The white represents the magician and the green…money of course. Opium incense. The same setup. But I go with these words for the chant that continues until the candles go out:

My sacred place, a world apart
Where magic and mind start
Bring money to me
Bring money to me
Bring money to me in an innocent way
Let money come to me
Let money come to me
Let money come to me in an innocent way

I understand some are possibly waiting for all the crazy “I am magician hear me roar” sort of linguistics. Found out there is no difference in these little workings if you do go all high and mighty unless you get too full of yourself. Seems simple is best and fastest. It is very non-complicated for a reason. I also have always worked on things to get them down to their prime basics without the need for elaborate rituals. I like elaborate rituals for a lot of things, especially personal cleansing and personal pathwork…it is simply not needed with these rituals here.

I will post more when I have time. I have some other spells that do not involve the Goetia that I will likely post when I get around to typing it all up again.

EDIT: I forgot to add. At the end of each I burned the paper that the seal was on. Nothing fancy burn it while reciting what you were reciting in the operation. When I burn things I usually like to “give it” to an element…something I picked up a while ago…so I’ll either let the ashes off into the wind…no wind I’ll bury it…to cold to bury it…flush it.
